STEP 1- REFERRAL

A referral is a written request made for a student to be evaluated by the Committee on Special Education.

STEP 2- EVALUATION

Once parental consent is given, formal testing and observations take place.

STEP 3- RECOMMENDATION

The recommendation is a written statement developed by the CSE.

STEP 4- IMPLEMENTATION

Implementation is arranging for the recommendations to be carried out.

STEP 5- ANNUAL REVIEW

The Annual Review is a required CSE meeting at which the current program is evaluated.
